Racquet Club Estates
Racquet Club Estates was built by the Alexander Construction Company between 1958 and 1962. All 360 homes in this tract were designed by Palmer and Krisel who rendered one 1,225 square foot model on a 35x35 foot concrete slab. There are A and B models, the A models have a front door facing the street, the B models have the door facing the breezeway. Variations in the models included different roof styles, and some models were reversed giving the neighborhood the look of custom homes. To ensure that the homes did not look like a tract, Palmer and Krisel specified the model and orientation of each home on every lot. More details on construction of these homes here.
