"We really enjoyed this insight into Hugh Kaptur's world of architecture in Palm Springs and seeing the homes as they are today. His comments about his work were insightful and amusing (for example when he explained about contractors 'borrowing' his plans and building their own Kaptur homes)."
- Ian Hardace, England
"Elegant, indeed! Just a lovely piece of work. The architecture of Hugh Kaptur is mouth-watering to me. My grandfather and his wife lived in Palm Springs and most of my time there was in the late 50s. Great memories brought back by this carefully made documentary. Bravo!"
- Thomas Maguire

"This new film, centering on the work of Hugh M. Kaptur, is entertaining and educational. I am a self-proclaimed "know it all" and I didn't know half of Hugh's work here in Palm Springs. Thanks to the film makers for bringing attention and acclaim to Hugh's designs. It's a great film."
- Gary Johns
""Quiet Elegance" is a wonderful tribute by Producers Bert Simonis and John C. Brown to the artistic and passionate work of Hugh M. Kaptur. The documentary captures the honesty and humility of this understated architect while showcasing his innovative designs over the years. Well paced and entertaining, "Quiet Elegance" makes for compelling viewing. Highly recommended!"
- Stewart Penn
"This is a very well produced and informative film about one of Palm Springs less-heralded architects. Mr. Kaptur proves to be a modest, creative and thoughtful man who has earned his place in the annals of local mid century architecture. The film has a good balance of interviews and site visits and flows nicely. I thoroughly enjoyed this introduction to Mr. Kaptur and his work and appreciate the film makers for honoring him. I look forward to their next venture."
